Director and Producer Gus Van Sant is going to have a very busy year or two with 4 huge projects in the works. Van Sant previously known for Milk, Good Will Hunting and Promised Land, now has multiple projects in the works both as Director and Producer with big names like Matthew McConaughey and James Franco.
In 2015 McConaughey and Niomi Watts will star in The Sea Of Trees, It is the tale of the “Suicide Forest” in Japan. Two men enter with very sad intentions; yet somehow find each other and the strength to go on a journey together. No release date yet, but it is currently in post-production after filming all summer in Massachusetts and than Japan.

ant is also producing the up coming film Michael. James Franco will star as a former Gay rights activist turned devout pastor speaking out against gay rights. Emma Roberts is set to play opposite Franco as his girlfriend. The film is currently in production in New York and set for a 2015 release.
